our member groups

The Chippewa Area History Center is home to the Chippewa County Historical Society, The Past Passed Here, and the Chippewa County Genealogical Society.  The three groups work together to preserve local history and make it available to the public.

Location, hours & admission

The Chippewa Area History Center (CAHC) is conveniently located at 12 Bridgewater Avenue, Chippewa Falls, WI between the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company and the south entrance to Irvine Park. ​

Wednesday - Sunday  

11 am - 5 pm

Admission:

Adults:           $7 / day

Children:        $3 / day

Families:       $15 / day

The building is fully accessible with handicap parking located directly in front of the building and a large public parking area across the street. 

Membership:

Individual / Student:  $25 / year

Family:  $50 / year

Iron (business or household):  $125 / year

Copper (business or household):  $250 / year

Silver (business or household):  $500 / year

Gold (business or household):  $1000 / year

Lifetime membership (household):  $5000
